Andrew Jervis Mr Lynch bleeds genres into each other, seemingly steering his magical mystery tour into new territories like campfire tropicalia, or cosmic freak folk. Petty attempts to label this genius inevitably don't do the tunes justice, so I'm going back to listening now... Favorite track: Yawning.

I listened to this during a hard break up and while it's not fair to compare a break up to the finality of death, this album was able to express my feelings towards the pit it left. Pure fusion magic. This is easily my album of the year and one of the best albums of the past several years. Truly one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever heard. I’ll be listening to this for years to come. It’s inspiring to see that even at the age of 80 Pharoah Sanders still has so much passion in his playing. Hopefully this isn’t the last we hear from him.
